"Hi, my name is Karl James owner of Creolesoul Catering located in Round Rock, TX. On behalf of Expert Village I'm here to show you a steak and creole gravy recipe. Now we got our mirepoix plus we sweated those vegetables down removed them from our pot. Now we are going to add our meat that we had marinating. Basically we want to get this in here and we are just going to brown this precook it gets those seasonings cooked into the meat. I'm doing this in about three fifty and it shouldn't take long because we cut them into nice thin slices. If you look you see it's quite a bit of steak in this cost about three fifty nine, three sixty somewhere around there. By slicing it by that we'll stretch it and it will go a long way once again when I started doing this because we're right out of college not a lot of money. Okay no money at all. (laughing) This will take about five minutes or so to get this steak browned and I'll see you back at the next step."
