"Hi! I'm Elvis Hillard and I am here on behalf of Expert Village and today we are going to be making a dish called French cassoulet. Today, we are going to be making a cassoulet dish. In today's day, it is like a modern style beef stew. It originated a long time ago in France. It is basically like a peasant food. It is cheap to make, it is really good and you can do various things with it. It could just be like a vegetable. You could add all kinds of different beans to it. A can wiener beans, Navy Beans, Northern beans which is basically like almost the same thing. Some people will even go ahead and throw meat into it. You can throw sausage, you can throw ham hocks, you can throw all different kinds of meat into it just to add flavor. Some people might even render the meat before you start adding the vegetables to it. Today what we are going to be doing is we are not going to put any meat into it. We are just going to go ahead with the straight vegetables, beans. What I mainly concentrating today on is it just being like a healthy hardy good wintertime vegetable soup. That is pretty light and it is going to be good, going to be good."
