Lasagna is a dish of some notable controversy. While widely considered an integral part of Italian Cuisine, some say that a very similar dish was served in England in the court of King Richard the II. While it is doubtful Chaucer partook of the rippling edged noodle, lasagna set its fame in stone as the favored meal of Garfield, the cartoon tabby. An assortment of cheeses, meats, and vegetables could be found within the gooey tomato sauced layers of lasagna, but this recipe is safe for the herbivore in your family and contains no meat whatsoever.
In this free video series, our expert Josiah Owen will show you how to make meatless lasagna. He will show you how to cook and dry the noodles, how to chop the garlic, grate the mozzarella, prepare and chop the zucchini and spinach, and dice the onions. He will also show you how to beat the eggs and add the Parmesan cheese before seasoning the sauce and making the layers.
