"Hi i'm Karl James owner of Creolesoul Catering located in Round Rock, Tx and on behalf of Expert Village i'm here to show you a chicken marsala recipe. Now at this point were going to take our shallot and peel this and cut this. You do have an option if you can't find a shallot you can use onion but this were going to use shallots in this were just going to cut the ends off like that and then a little slit down the side. That will allow us to peel the shallots (peel out a layer) then we will make small slices and were not going to cut all the way through. Just going to make it easier to chop, then were going to make some slices. As you can see there shallots are chopped there for us but we'll continue on by just slicing down the side and getting some fine chop shallots. The shallots that make it different from the onion is that its got a hint of garlic in it it's like an onion with a cross of garlic but were going also use garlic cause i love garlic anyway lets move on."
