"Hi, this is Josiah Owen with Expert Village. And today, we're going to be talking about how to cook pepperoni ziti for those on a diabetic diet. All right, now we're going to talk about mincing our garlic for our pepperoni ziti. We're going to first start off by peeling the garlic. We're going to cut off the bottom part because we're never going to use that. It's going to be too tough to digest and people would just be chewing on it. After this, we're going to peel the garlic. One way is to just press flat with the blade against it. And we've got a chopper here, so we're just going to throw the garlic right in there. It's a good, quick way to chop the garlic. Pop this back on and a couple of pumps. And as we can see, the garlic started to mince up. We're going to throw it back in, give it a couple more pumps. And there we go. We have our minced garlic. All right, now we're going to talk about mincing our onions for our ziti. First, I'm going to start off by cutting the bottom off of our onion. And we're just going to peel this apart. With this, we're going to make tiny, little pieces. Cutting little slivers. I'm going to turn it to the side and do the exact same thing. And what you do is you find the bigger pieces and just go ahead and start chopping these up to as small as you can get. If you start to make a mess, just put it back in the middle and try to work out the bigger pieces. And there you go. Your pieces should be about that big. All right, now we're going to talk about chopping our peppers for our ziti. First, we're going to start off by coring the pepper. We're going to take the top off. Then reach in here and just grab the seeds and the core and just throw it away. At this point, we're going to cut some really thin rings, making sure to keep your fingers out of the way. At this point, go ahead and cut these in half. Then grab this half and start at the end, and just cut them into really small, thin pieces -- about the same size as the onions. And you want to do this with both sides, and your peppers will eventually look like that."
