"Hi I'm Kara with Expert Village and today we're going to be making a vegetable Thai curry stir fry. We're going to be using brown rice for the base of our curry vegetable stir fry. I have 1 1/3 cups of water on the stove here, already brought to a boil, so I'm going to add our 1/2 cup of brown rice. Which I like to substitute brown rice whenever I can for white rice just to add, it's a little more healthier for you and has those extra nutrients. So add that in. Just make sure it's covered with the water. I'm going to turn the stove down to a simmer. Put the heat back on and we're going to let this cook while we prepare our vegetables."
