"I'm my name is Elvis Hillard. I'm here on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to talk about making New Orleans style barbecue shrimp. Like I said we are using twenty one twenty five shrimp. The first thing you want to do is smell it you know. You definitely want to make sure you smell it at the grocery store. Sometimes it may be like too pink or something. Make sure you don't buy that. You have to make sure that they are pretty translucent when you see the shrimp. Go ahead and just drop it in here. You want to wash it before and after you peel it just to make sure you have all the excess shells and stuff are gone. You can also devein them too. I'm not really going to worry about that today but you just want to make sure they are all clean. You are just going to have to wash them and just kind of drain them out. You want to start peeling them. I like to leave the tails on, it is kind of like a presentation thing. Usually you can find shrimp to like twenty one twenty five and it is still going to have the heads on. That looks really awesome if you are trying to impress someone with that. You still want to keep on peeling the shrimp but you can not do anything after. So that is done. Make sure everything is off. "
