"Hi this is Dave for Expert Village today were going to be making some cajun shepherds pie. Now for the topping of our shepherds pie we have our mashed potatoes so what were going to do is have some beautiful already fork tender mashed potatoes here. I like to add a nice big ole' chunk of butter right in there you see how thats melting down on there, and were using evaporated milk you can use regular milk if you like. Don't use condensed milk this is evaporated so a lot of difference in flavor this isn't sweetened so I like to put in half of can in there, just to see how it's looking when you mash them. We can always add some more later, I like to add a little bit of white pepper into it and then I like to grind in a few grinds and not very much of this. Because we already got salt in some of the other elements of the cajun shepherds pie, but put a couple of grinds in there. Then we'll taste how it goes, then we'll do is grab your masher you can put this a blender or whatever you like to do. I like the old style but that's just me we want to mash these down all the way cause these are going to end up being on top of our shepherds pie. We want these nice light and creamy cause then its easy to cook on top."
