"Hi, this is David for Expert Village and today we are making Cajun ratatouille. The last of our three herbs is going to be basil. So what you want to do is get you know get 2,3,4, or 5 leaves whatever for that recipe. But I'm just going to use a couple here and make it easy. What you do is kind of roll this into a little cigar lengthwise. What you want to do is stack all of your leaves just like that so you made this little tube and it is just really easy. The French call it Chiffonade you just cut this into just across. You know you go across just like this and you are going to come out with nice little actually sort of little strains of basil that is going to go into your recipe."
