"Hi, this is Dave for Expert Village. Today we are going to make white bean soup with hamhocks and cornbread. Well our batter has been resting over on the side over here and we've cut up our chilies and cheese. We are getting ready to add these. Just go ahead and pour them right in; kind of spread the chilies a little bit from the beginning so that they don't go in one place. It will be easier if you mix in same thing with the cheese; just push that right into your bowl. The cheese also keeps the cornbread moist as well besides our folding action that we used to keep it white. You see how beautiful it looks already and if you had the red pimento in there or jalapeƱo also; they do have red jalapeƱos in cans I understand. I haven't seen them but I believe they do. It will also add some color and heat to this so just make sure that those get incorporated. Try to keep them separated a little bit if you can. No biggie if you can't but it's a nice flavor throughout the entire cornbread it you do it this way."
