"Hi, this is Dave for Expert Village. Today we are going to make white bean soup with ham hocks and cornbread. To make your cornbread extra special I usually like to add a couple of things to it including fresh grated cheese. I happen to have some Monterrey Jack cheese here, sharp cheddar is really great, mild cheddar is fine too, it adds an extra flavor and a different texture to your cornbread. So I'll just get a chunk of it real here and just grate it, you don't have to have a ton of it I would say probably a half to one cup all together. It would be great to go into your batter. See how easily it goes through this is just a plain old hand grater and you can definitely use your food processor if you like with a grater blade. But for this amount hand grated is just fine, easy to clean up, you don't have to worry about it. It looks like it's just about enough right there, that will be perfect for the size pan."
