"This is Dave for Expert Village. Today we’re going to make Shrimp and Scallop Fettucini with a side of garlic bread. Okay, now we’ve got our nice loaf of either French or Italian bread, whichever you would like and I’m going to show you how to cut this up and we’re going to apply our beautiful butter to it. So what I’d like to do is just take a knife, a serrated knife or a bread knife and just cut the loaf lengthwise. Also this is French bread you can also use Italian as I said, but you can also use Sourdough if that’s what you like too, that would almost make this dish like a Chippino. So here you go, you just go down lengthwise and you open that up, you’ve got two nice loaves and then you go ahead and just grab your spatula and just rub that butter right on. So we’re going to put this onto a pan, and what we’re going to do is we’re going to pop this into the oven under the broiler. So when the broiler gets going, really make sure that you’re watching this because it could burn really quickly. Now what we want of course is a light golden brown, so just go ahead and grab this, pop it right in and we’ll be taking this out within, like I said keep an eye on it, probably only take two or three minutes.
