"This is Dave for Expert Village. Today we’re going to make Shrimp and Scallop Fettucini with a side of garlic bread. Okay, now we’re going to make the garlic butter spread for this so let’s put it together. You just want to grab your butter; I’m going to put this right into a bowl, just like this and kind of mash that around a little bit. It’s better if your butter is a little softer. You could just leave it out on the counter a little bit. This has been some, and you see it’s starting to break apart. Because then we want to add some other ingredients to it, you, at this point you could add your olive oil to make it a little bit smoother, a little creamier. So go ahead and just add a little of that in, you can use extra virgin if you like, this is a real light olive oil. You could put that in, get that going a little bit, mash it around and now we have our butter and oil well blended we want to add a little bit of garlic to this, and again to taste, I like a lot of garlic in mine. This is going to go on your toast so just go ahead and mix that in. And then we have some dried oregano, be careful with, again like any dried herb it’s going to be much stronger than it’s fresh counterpart, so I just like to add, oh about a quarter teaspoon or so, you know, again it’s to taste. So just about like that ought to be enough for this mixture. So you just mix that in well. "
