I have a quarter of an onion and I am going to dice that up; dices or slices, your preference. I've got 1 carrot, cut off the root and I am going to dice this, so I like to cut it one slice one way and now it has a flat side so it is stable on the board. Now you can stack these together and cut it down the middle as well and cut this into little places. I also have some green peas. "
