"My name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert Village and today I am going to show you how to make Chicken Ala Cacciatore or hunter's style chicken. All right, here we are with our oregano, what we are going to do, is I need to get about two ounces of oregano out of this, so the way you pick oregano is you pull the leaves off this little stick, I know that sounds like fun. So if you have ever picked thyme before you know how to pick oregano, very much the same way. So you just basically hold it from the opposite end that it grows in and run your fingers lightly down the entire stalk and pieces will fall right off, and it does take a very long time, plus you need a whole lot, luckily we don't need a whole lot today, we just need a couple of ounces and you shouldn't have to cut anything up, so you should all, because we're just leaving these leaves whole so that we get a nice look in our dish and also because we are slow picking this, by leaving them whole it will work better in the dish because if we were to cut these up and for this long cooking time that we are cooking this at they would just basically turn into mush, let's see how far along we are here, now we should be there if not, almost there. Ah, a little bit more, maybe two more, we'll see. That one and we'll do this one too, this is a pretty good one, we'll get lots of oregano off of this one, there we go, there is our two ounces and that is how you get oregano."
