"My name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert Village. Today I’ll be making traditional London Broil with roasted Yukon Gold potatoes and asparagus wrapped in bacon. So what we’re going to do with our asparagus, is we’re just going to take it and we’re just going to lay it right here in the pan, and just one nice layer, that’s pretty much it. We’re going to take that garlic bit that we have left over just kind of sprinkle it over the top, and of course just a little bit of salt and pepper, you can never have too much black pepper, here comes the fun part. So what I’m going to do now is I’m going to take my bacon and pull it off here, one piece at a time. I’ve got it nice and cold so it’s easier to work with here, although it’s actually being difficult to work with oddly enough, so we’re going to pull the bacon apart. What we’re doing is I’m just laying the bacon right on top of the asparagus. What this is going to do is when we throw this in the oven with the potatoes the fats going to melt out of the bacon and it’s going to basically just cook all over the asparagus and we’ll have some really, really awesome bacony asparagus and as another side effect the bacon grease is going to linger on over to the potatoes and add just a, a hint of wonderful bacony flavor to those potatoes. You want to make sure that you’re not overlapping too much with this, or else you’ll start to affect the overall cooking time of. Just put one more piece right here, I missed a spot kind of, and that’s that, so we’re going to wait until we get about, we’ll say, twenty minutes out from our roast being done and throw this in the oven and see then it’s all going to come out at the same time then, see I staged everything so everything comes out at the same time and is ready to go at the same time.
