"My name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert Village. Today we’ll be making traditional London Broil with roasted Yukon Gold potatoes and asparagus wrapped in bacon. The next thing I’m going to do is chop up some garlic, you’ll see that I still have this garlic in the paper. One of the easiest ways to peel garlic instead of trying to sit here and pick this off of the paper is to take your knife, take the flat part of the knife there and throw it on top of the garlic with both hands making sure that you don’t cut yourself with this edge. Give it one good chop just like that and you’ll see that your garlic, well if I can get a hold of it, just comes right out of the paper, just like that, nice and easy. So we’re just going to do that here, we have a total of six cloves so we’re going to use four of them in the main dish of the London Broil, and I’ll use the other two for the vegetables. But we’re going to still go ahead and chop them all at once. And there’s that, something else that’s good to know is a really easy way to get the smell of garlic off your hands, or onions for that matter is to rub your hands against stainless steel. For some reason stainless steel takes the smell right off. There’s a chemical reaction involved that does it. And a lot of times you can go to, I know you can go to certain kitchen and cooking stores and they’ll sell you a little bar of stainless steel that you can keep around just to get the smell off your hands. So all right now we’re going to take this and since like I said we’re using four of these for the London Broil and two for the veggies I’m just going to chop them all at once and I want to keep it a pretty big chop, don’t want to make it too small, I don’t want to, you know puree it necessarily. You could also do this in a food processor if you wanted to, but you’ve got to really stay on top of it and also it’s such a small amount you’d have to use a really small food processor. All right, so that is that and on to our next step. "
