"My name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert Village. Today we’ll be making traditional London Broil with roasted Yukon Gold potatoes and asparagus wrapped in bacon. Okay, the first thing we’re going to do is we’re going to chop up our onion for our marinade. Just peel the skin back there, we’re going to hold our knife one finger on this side, the thumb on the other side, make sure you hold it nice and steady. Since we’re doing this for our marinade I want to cut it a little smaller than I normally would. So I’m just going to hold my finger up here at the top, use it as a guide and just cut straight down like this. There you go, I’m also going to cut straight down like this, this is a good way to dice an onion without having it, without having to sit there and rock the knife back and forth like this to chop it up. All right when you get to the end so you don’t cut your finger off you can just turn it over sideways like this, that way you’re only throwing this little tiny piece away as opposed to the whole end and since the onion cost you money your don’t want to throw money in the trash do you?
