"My name is Brandon Sarkis for Expert Village and today I will be roasting a pork loin. All right it is garlic time so let’s take our cloves of garlic here. I’ll show you a quick and easy way to peel your garlic. We are going to take our clove of garlic and set it flat. We are going to take the flat part of our knife here, we are going to lay it on top of our garlic, we are going to take our hand put it, watch out for the blade here. We are going to put it on top of the knife here, take our other hand and put it on top, maybe smash it down and you will see it just falls right out of the wrapper. Well maybe falls is the wrong word, but it is a lot easier to peel it this way, there you go, nice and easy. Always trim that little end off there, you don’t want and do the next one the same, the next two the same way, you can do them both at once. Be careful, watch that blade, oh, this one is kind of getting sneaky on me, so we are just going to set there. Basically just pop it right out of there, the skin there, so much easier than trying to do it with just your hands and we are going to nip these ends off, because these ends are not good. It is okay if you are making a soup or something because you can use them then, but we are just going to take this and give this a nice pretty large dice. I don’t want them too small, I want to be able to see my garlic in my food so just a couple of chops here. I don’t like using a food processor and I don’t like using the jarred stuff it doesn’t have the same flavor. So we’re just going to give this a couple of chops here, wipe it off the blade, wipe it off your fingers, scrape it all up off the knife, there is your minced garlic and we are off. "
