"My name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert Village. Today, I am going to show you my favorite way to cook King Crab legs. All right with regards to equipment, of course, we are going to need the knife. You've got to have a nice good sharp knife. We are going to use this to cut up our vegetables. Also, need a cutting board. Something preferably big. We have to cut up onion, tomato and celery, so nice cutting board. I am actually recommending this cutting board now. Something that I have been trying the last few days. I got to like it. It is one of the new like a hybrid composite. Basically, it is a wood and composite cutting board. Pretty nice though. Usually I would recommend a wood cutting board though. It is also my favorite; nice bamboo. Not plastic. Plastic cutting boards are terrible. The only thing worse than plastic cutting boards are marble or acrylic ones. Those are really really bad on your knives. So don't even consider those. I've also got a little one quart sauce pan. This is to clarify my butter in. Something small. We are only going to put a pound of butter here and let it cook for a very long time. Over here, I've got my large stock pot. This is actually a, I want to say a ten quart; let's look on the bottom. It is a nine quart stock pot. The cool thing about this though is it actually has a steamer insert that fits inside of it just like that. That is how we are going to cook these today. You are also going to use your lid because that helps facilitate the steaming process. Also we are going to need a pair of tongs to remove the steaming hot crab legs as well as a rubber spatula. This is for stirring up the sauce that we are making later. As always, a towel. Towels are always good to have around. So with that being said, let's get started on our clarified butter first. "
