"Hi, this is Rich Buccola here in New York City and today on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you how to make butternut squash compote. Alright, we have our butternut squash peeled and we have it deseeded and de-cored. It's ready to go, so let's cut it up into about half inch cubes. Alright, I cut this in half first. Then what I'll do is I'll take my other half and cut it lengthwise. Take your time. What I'll do sometimes if I see it's big is I'll cut it again. I'll even cut this one again. And then I'll turn it this way and cut half inch back pieces. Like so. That's what I'll do with my whole squash. Again just cut it lengthwise, again and once again and we'll cut nice half inch pieces. Alright, we're going to start adding these to our casserole dish. And what we want to do right now is preheat our oven to three seventy-five. It's going to bake for forty minutes."
