"Hi, I'm Jennifer Cail and on behalf of Expert Village I am going to make a gingerbread house to create your own winter wonderland. Our main decorating tool that we are going to use for decorating house is going to be icing. Once more the royal icing because it is nice and white we can put in lots of snow. So if you want to add snow to the bottom I've got a star tip in here that will do a nice job of adding a snowy base. Now if you want to add a door or windows of course right now I've got our nice wooden paneling on here but if you are going to have a flat one you are just going to frost in a door. You can make it as wide as you want to. If you are creating a gingerbread church then you might want to have a double door that opens up. And then if you want to use green icing you can always put a wreath around on top of the door as well. If you have some candy sprinkles you can put little holly berries in there. For demonstrative purposes I am just going to have the white icing right now. You can also put in a window or a peephole as it may be. For on top of the roof you will probably want to put some gumdrops on top. These work great for lining the top of the roof. You are probably going to have at least a little bit of a gap up there just because you can't get the cookies to match up exactly. So this is a great way to fill in the big gaps. You will also have eves under your rooftop which is another great place for putting in some more snow. Any place that you can put snow you want to. Both because it looks pretty and also because you want to get as much icing in there as possible for really holding together your house. Now in front of the house you can also put doorsteps. You can use your round candies and you just want to put a little dollop of icing there. And then put in your colored steps. You can use this in various ways either to create a pathway or to create various different pathways. You can also stack the candies off to the side to create a bush perhaps. Using your imagination you can come up with all sorts of different ways to use candies to decorate your house however you want. You can even add your little chocolate candies and maybe create a snowman off to the side depending on how steady that is. So now you have a little snowman off to the side of your house."
