"My name is Brandon Sarkis, on behalf of Expert Village. Today, I'm going to show you how to make gingerbread. You can tell from that sound that the waiting is over with, so now we can get on to the good part, which is the eating. When you scoop these up, I always hold them down to get the spatula underneath, and kind of work it. if you don't hold them down what can happen is that you can get your spatula underneath, and if it sticks on one side, when you go to flip it up, you can break it. That would be bad. They're still a little warm, but as you can see, I've got a nice little gingerbread man, and his little gingerbread woman here. You can see, we've got a nice brown here on the edges. Nice and thick and fluffy. Nice, even, smooth, brown back on them. Same thing with the little gingerbread woman here. A little air pocket got in there, but nothing too terrible. Thus recipe is going to make a lighter gingerbread than we're accustomed to. Let me break one open, and show you how that works."
