"My name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert Village. Today I'm going to show you how to make a holiday turkey. Alright so it's been three and a half hours, so let's pull out our turkey. There we go. Alright so, you can tell by the little thingy magigger being popped out here that our turkey is done. You can also tell just by the fact that the juices are running clear. Let's get a closer look at that. Alright so you can see here the juices in the bottom of the pan are nice and clear, which means our turkey's fully cooked. You can also see that by rubbing the outside with olive oil, we have a nice crispy skin, and also a nice, golden brown. The olive oil will actually darken the outside of the turkey when it cooks because of the olive oil, will actually start heating and cooking the outside of the turkey making it nice and crispy. So what we do now, is let the turkey rest. The turkey's got to rest, realistically about a half an hour before we can actually cut into it without risking of burning ourselves. So I'm going to set my timer here for a half and hour and in thirty minutes we're going to come back in here, untrust this turkey, and I'm going to show you how to cut it up really quickly. So, and that will conclude our turkey cooking segments today. "
