"Hello! I'm Denise Bennett and I am here on behalf of Expert Village today. This is a young coconut and I believe in one our segments I already showed you how to open this but I just want to explain. This is the knife that I use and it is very very sharp. So just to let you know I am going to kind of show you that we would cut it here, here, you can do either 3 or 4 but most people do 3 and thin flip it up. Now once the young coconut, I want to dig out the meat and I am going to use this spoon and do it any way that you feel comfortable but I actually like to dig out the meat backwards. So I am going to take this spoon and I don't know if you can see this but I am going backwards inside like this all the way around. Once the meat starts to come up, it usually comes up in several large pieces and this is what it looks like. "
