"On behalf of Expert Village my name is Dina Cutrone of Tall Order in New York City and today we are making hummus pizza. So here we are we are going to roast our red peppers. What I did I just washed it and I actually cut of the stem a little bit at the top cause that would help us to when we are trying to char this end it will actually be able to stand on it's end that way. So let's the stove top over here and I'm going to put the burner on in the front. I have a really little burner here it is actually really good and what you do is you just put it right on top of the fire like that and you just place it there an what happens it would char you would see the skin would get burnt basically. So it would get char and you can here it crisp like crackling there and that is a good sign. Then what we do is I take my thongs and I just move it so every side gets blacken and charred and it when it is done we are going to put it into the bowl with some saran wrap on top of it and close it. There let it cool and that way the skin would actually get loose enough so we can actually take off the skin easily and then have a roasted pepper leftover for our hummus pizza."
