"Hello, I'm Robert Cheeke, president of Vegan Bodybuilding and Fitness based here in Portland, Oregon. Today on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to do a tutorial all about being vegan. In this clip, I'm going to talk about how to bake vegan foods. One of the questions we are often asked is "how do you make that vegan?" I want to make cakes, I want to make cupcakes, I want to do this and that, how do I do that vegan. Well this right here will be one of your new best friends, this is an egg replacer. Obviously in a lot of baking there's eggs, there's dairy, things like that. The egg replacer is something that can be a a substitute. You can also use applesauce and mushed up bananas, other things that acts as a filler and something that's dense. So here we have, these are all vegan friendly options here for baking ingredients, and a lot of stuff you can buy scratch too, and make it from scratch using flour and natural cane sugar, and agave nectar instead of honey, things like that. Whether it's pudding, chocolate chips, or even a how-to vegan baking book, all of these things are available, and in quantity at stores everywhere, so you can get your vegan mixes, your chocolate chips, your honey substitutes, your egg replacers and a huge variety of vegan baking books. There's probably hundreds out there, so there's no excuse to not make those vegan cupcakes. "
