"Hi! I'm Nili Nathan. I'm going to show you how easy it is to prepare raw almond milk right at home. There is no dairy in it and it is really simple. Let me show you. The ingredients you are going to need is to get some raw Oman's and then soak them for about 4 to 6 hours in some nice pure water. Then you are going to need a really good blender. I'm using Vitamix because it is very powerful and I put 2 cups of spring water in here. Next you are going to drain the almonds, put them in the blender, add just a pinch of salt; I'm using sea salt, and then you want to sweeten it. Some sweetening ideas are you can put maple syrup, that's fine or liquid stevia but I am going to use agave nectar. It is one of my favorites. Agave nectar has half the calories of white sugar and half the carbohydrates. It is low on the glycemic index so that is really good. So I will just squirt some of this in there and then I will do a taste test later, put your top on and that's it! Wasn't that easy? There's no mystery to almond milk. Now watch this, turn on the blender for about a minute or two. You can strain this if you want to but I don't think it is necessary at all. You can see how nice and frothy that is. It is a little thick. I may want to thin it out with some water. Uhm, uhm, that is delicious."
