"On behalf of Expert Village my name is Gale Stolove with Wholly Macro in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Today we are going to talk about cooking the macrobiotic way. In macrobiotic it is very involved in cooking seasonally and I'm really pleased in this whole green environmental movement in this country it is also very involved in that. I read articles now is to use local foods that are grown by local farmers so that it is not flown in from different countries so they use seasonal foods because the is what the farmers are growing. They are not growing foods that are out of season and it happens to be what macrobiotics is about. It is about using foods that are seasonal. Better if they are local but you can't always get everything in your climate zone but you can get things that are seasonal that are grown at least in this country. So it goes along with the green movement and it is better of the health of your body. "
