How to Cut Limes

"Lime juice is another wonderful added addition in salad dressings, in marinades, in chicken dishes, fantastic. Now as I mentioned before, I'm making a dish that I'm going to need some zest from, so I'm going to use this wonderful handy dandy zester and make some beautiful long peels. Zesting is an easy and quick task, if you know how to do it. As you can see here, I'm taking my time with long smooth cuts and these beautiful curls are very fragrant. They're going to add that nice fragrance of lime into your dishes. Okay. I'll reserve that for later. I've already given all these a good roll to bring all their juices to the top so that I can have as much juice out of these little guys as possible. Using my little juicer. Lately I've been falling in love with an electric juicer because it takes all of the drudgery out of hand mixing. But it's a little noisy. So this is a little easier, it's quicker. When I'm doing catering events and I need fresh juice, I can throw this in my catering bag and bring it to somebody's home or the facility that I'm using and it's a lot easier for me. Plus clean up is a lot quicker too. Just a good dunk in the sink with a little bit of soap and I'm ready to go. Okay? Beautiful lime juice. You can also reserve some and make beautiful lime wedges as a garnish also so that folks can use them to pinch. Now I'm going to add the lime juice to my lemon juice. And so far I've got about two thirds of a cup. Oranges are next."
