Alright now that we have split the coconut open we will want to clean the coconut. So first we are going to rinse it a little bit in case any fibers are in there because we don't want to eat the fibers. Then once we do that, I'll clean this one off a little bit too, we are going to take out the meat. I'm using a little wooden spoon; I'm actually reversing the spoon and pushing it along the coconut shell. And here is the fibrous part and then right there is the coconut's shell. Now this is a young coconut it is not a mature coconut. If it was a mature coconut this would be real thick; the water would be gone and the coconut would be real thick but here we are using this young coconut right here which really good. We want to get all the shell out of it, we don't want to eat that either, so we can wash it off; it washes really easy. It is very rubbery right now. You could eat it at this stage but that is not our favorite way to eat it. We're going to show you our favorite way to eat it real soon.
