"Hi, this is Karen for Expert Village. Homemade vegetable stock is the tastiest base to use in your soup, I'll show you how to make it. These are the ingredients we'll be using; 4 onions, a parsnip, I'm using a kohlrabi which has a flavor like a parsnip, 6 carrots, 3 or 4 stocks of celery, a bunch of parsley stems, 1/2 of teaspoon of thyme, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper corns, 2 cloves of garlic, 2 bay leaves, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 potatoes, and down under here is a leak a good size leak. "
