"These are the ingredients to make a Dirty Martini. I am going to use Vodka. Now in the past before, people used Gin for their Martini's but now days people tend to use Vodka. It is just the cool thing to do, the latest thing to do. However people like my father who is pretty old school, will never even think of trying Vodka in his Martini. But times have changed, right? Also you need olive juice and olives. And here is a little trick. The deeper the olive color of the Dirty Martini, the better. Guaranteed! Gin of course has been used in Martini's for a very, very long time now but now days people tend to request Vodka in their Martini. It is just the way it is now. For people like my dad who is pretty old school, he would never ever think of using Vodka in his Martini. He would never try any Vodka Martini. That is just him. He is back in the Frank Sinatra days. Okay and you can use a dash of dry Vermouth which is standard in Martini's. However with this, it is really not that necessary. Especially if you are making drinks to party and don't happen to have dry Vermouth around. You know, it doesn't matter. These are the utensils I will be using to make a Martini. First up, Martini glass of course. If you put it in a glass like this, not the same. Next up I will be using a pourer to put on the Vodka bottle. It makes the pours a lot easier and just a lot more equal to the amount you are supposed to do rather than pouring too much if this pourer was off. Know what I mean. Like at the clubs, they usually don't have pourers on there and it's like whoa, just way too much alcohol. Next up we will be using a bar spoon. Now you could just use a straw or a stirrer or a regular spoon. It doesn't matter but bartenders tend to use this. Next we will be using a shaker can. This is where you put the ice and the alcohol in here and this is where you will be stirring the drink. Key word stirring, not shaking. And next up we will be using toothpicks for the garnish which will be olives. Be sure not to poke your eye out with them. "
