"Hello, my name is Melissa and on behalf of Expert Village today I’m going to teach you how to make the perfect cup of hot chocolate. In this clip let’s just talk about playing with some different flavors. As I mentioned in earlier clips, when making hot chocolate lots of things to think about because it is to your taste, or your, what you think your guests may really enjoy. So we talked one about making it with water versus with milk, milk will of course give it that richer consistency, water, very watered down, not so great, because think of drinking water and chocolate, not that great. Milk and chocolate, milk and cookies, that kind of warm fuzzy feeling, that’s going to give it that extra bit of taste to it. Then we go into of course the type of chocolate that you want to taste as well. Milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate, but more importantly too, if you’re adding in any type of liqueur you can really play with this and you test it, also with our spices, you can add many, many, many different flavors, anything from thyme to basil, to ginger, to uh, you can add in mint leaves, I like to drizzle them on the top for flavor, but there’s so many different things you can put in, nutmeg, there’s so many different types of spices, so the next time you go to the grocery store, have a look at the spice rack and maybe pick one, so that the next time that you make a hot chocolate you can play with it each time and figure out what you like best over something else. So again, play with the flavors, test them out, the first one might not be your favorite, might take a couple of different tries and a couple of different guesses to make that perfect hot chocolate, hot cup of hot chocolate.
