"Okay, so for steeping the tea, it's very important to have the right temperature of water. The other component that's going to determine how your tea brews is how long you steep it. And so a really indispensable tool you need to have for steeping your tea is something to time it with. Here I have a small kitchen timer. You can make it count down or you can make it count forward. So the idea in utilizing this as a tool would be to start the timer, or to set the amount of time you want to steep your tea, and have it count down and then beep an alarm to let you know when your tea is ready so you can remove the diffusing ball, or pour the tea out of your pot. Whatever the apparatus you're using requires you do to stop the steeping from occurring. And I would say, try to be as exact as possible with time because that's going to allow you the consistency you need to know what you're getting in your cup of tea and be able to adjust it to your personal preference."
