"Hi, my name is Natalja from the Red Brick Cafi. On behalf of expertvillage.com, we are going to learn how to make espresso blended drinks with care and excellence. Okay, as you can see, there is a lot of dirt that comes out. So you want to flush that out. Then, with a brush that is kind of stiff and small like this, you want to brush every part of the shower head and the gasket that is in here too, rubbing that clean. Now, we are just going to repeat this until all water is clear. Also, what is really important is to remove the tray here. You can easily remove it and take it apart and clean it thoroughly in the sink. Also, make sure there is no residues of coffees or tea leafs or anything stuck in here because that is going to plug your lines. So make sure this is also very well cleaned. Another part of cleaning the espresso machine that is really important is the steam wand. We really need to make sure the steam wand because it needs to have enough pressure to steam the milk properly. Also, for hygienic reasons because we are always dipping it in milk, it needs to be cleaned. We can use a little pin to make sure that the holes are free from obstruction. We can also use a damp cloth, which we should always use after each steaming process and thoroughly clean it. Other aspects of the espresso machine that need to be kept tidy and clean are on top of the espresso machine. A lot of times grinds and scum can get in here and we want to wipe that down. We want to wipe down the rest of the machine to keep it shinny and nice."
