"If you are a fan of wine, you probably like Italian wines. They make some of the most amazing wine in the world. And Italians are also very well known for some of their sparkling wines. Now before I get started, I have to remind you. Don't call them champagne. Call them what they are. Some of Italy's most famous sparkling wines are called Spumante or Frizzante, which are the Italian terms for "sparkling." Italy's most popular sparkling wine is called Prosecco. And Prosecco is so popular, I don't say that it has a religion, I say that it has a cult. People, once they taste it, it is their new favorite wine. Prosecco is the name of a region in northern Italy called Prosecco. And Prosecco is within the region of Veneto, which is known for being the home of a town you know as Venice, the home of Romeo and Juliet, among other things. So Prosecco is from a town named Prosecco. And it's also made from a grape called Prosecco. And the wine is called Prosecco. So, if you know Prosecco, you know everything you need to know. Now Prosecco is a fun, fruity, bubbly wine, made using a very simple process called Charmat. That's c-h-a-r-m-a-t. And the Charmat process is where you make a sparkling wine in a large vat. It's not aged. It's not supposed to be a serious wine. There's no champagne bouquet. It's just fruity and fun and bubbly. And when you taste Prosecco, let me remind myself, it should be very refreshing. You should immediately feel about ten percent cooler, and everyone around you will look about ten percent hotter. That's one of the beauties of it. Prosecco is going to taste like lemon, lime, and green apples, have a very tart acidity, and that acidity is going to hang on for a long time. It goes well with all kinds of food. It goes well with a party. It'll cool you off. And the best thing about Prosecco is it's inexpensive. So try a glass of Prosecco the next time you're thinking of having a sparkling wine. "
