"Hi, my name is Ivan, we are here with Expert Village and in this clip we're going to learn about beers, different kind of beers. We going to talk about Leffe, a company that had a trecerous history through time. It was founded in 1152 and it has been through fire and floods in the mid 1400's, as well it was destroyed in the French Revolution and it was rebuilt in 1952 and started producing beer again. Two beers we are going to try. They both in a higher alcohol content, one is a Leffe blond and one is a Leffe brown. The blond beer, or the ambers, are darker color because of the caramelized sugar in them. It also has a sweeter taste. So, that's a blond. And, that's a brown. Also with an ale we have to know that they are using the top fermentation process, which means that the fermentation and bacteria and yeast are removed from the top of the barrel when the fermentation process is done. As it moved from a pilsner or lager to an ale beer the color gets darker, the alcohol content gets higher and the malt content gets lower in the beer. Also, it became heavier and less clear, the beer itself, and you moved from a lager to an ale. "
