"Hi, my name is Gail Hoffman. I'm from Huntington Beach Florida and on behalf of Expert Village I"m going to demonstrate how to make Cafe Au Lait. To make our coffee we're going to need to boil some water and I have a little bit over a quart of water here that I'm going to put on high. We'll let that boil and we're going to put our coffee grinds into the French press. I have a French roast coffee and it's a little bit courser ground coffee for the French press it just works out a little bit better. So I'm going to put in about a 1/2 cup of grinds, I have my boiling water and it's important that you don't boil the water to long. You want it just to a boil and take it off the heat and pour it into your French press pot and this is a one quart pot. So I have roughly one quart of water in there and then I take my French press lid and there is a screen here for pouring and that goes right in here in front of the spout. You fit it on and you let it sit and steep kind of like a tea for about 4 minutes."
