"Hi, my name is Gail Hoffman. I'm in Beach Florida and on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to demonstrate how to make Cafe Au Lait. CafeAu Lait is the French word for coffee with milk and there are different versions of it. There is Cafe Laute which is the Italian version and that is Espresso with steamed milk. Then the Spanish Cafe con leche which is also coffee with milk and they sometimes put a little cinnamon in it. You can make Cafe Au Lait various ways, varies strength actually you can, the traditional way is half coffee and half milk. But some people prefer maybe a little bit more coffee and less milk and the children in France and other parts of Europe sometimes will drink Cafe Au Lait, with a larger quantity of milk and just a little bit of coffee and a little bit of sugar. People think that is kind of unusual that children would be drinking coffee but when you think about the nutrition in the milk it's actually good for them. Coffee has that little bit of coffee that little bit of coffee that has a lot less caffeine than say a soft drink and also less sugar."
