"Hi, I'm Terri Turco with Expert Village and we are in the midst of melting chocolate. Now, before we left we put the chocolate on the double boiler but we also put the second bowlin the microwave oven, which is a lot faster. It's been in there for about a minute. And here is another note, when you are using a glass bowl make sure it's a tempered bowl. Notice I can put it in the microwave and it doesn't get too hot so I can hold it. That's really important when you're making chocolate. Now we've done this for about a minute and as you can see it's getting a little bit melted but we probably have to put it in for another minute. So that is exactly what we are going to do. We're going to put that in for one more minute, set that time and let it go. Now we've let this chocolate melt for another minute for a total of two complete minutes and it looks like it's just about right. We're going to stir it up. And you see the consistency is absolutely perfect. It's really smooth and chocolatey. It almost looks like homemade fudge now doesn't it. And once again, I want to close that microwave door and show you that there's the double boiler method but it's still melting. It's a lot slower, that's why I always prefer the microwave method. Now, when we come back I'm going to show you a number of different ways to make different items with this melted chocolate. And it's going to be really simple. It's as simple as a plate, a muffin tin, some foil, wax paper and a little flat spatula. I know I've peaked your interest but you know there's one more thing. There's a little paint brush involved somewhere in this. So make sure you come back because I'm going to show you how to paint that chocolate into something realy artistic and fun and delectable."
