"Hi! My name is Stephanie Barnett and on behalf of Expert Village, I am here to show you how to make a pumpkin pie. Take your pie out of the oven and once it is out of the oven, it is extremely hot. It is important that you let it cool. You can put it on a wire rack, you can put it on a hard surface that can take heat and you can also put it on a potholder. It is important that you cool down at room temperature for at least an hour. Then you need to put the pie into the refrigerator for at least 2 to 3 hours. It is very very important that the pie has completely cooled before you put on the decorations. If your pie isn't completely cool, your decorations can have a chance to sink into the filling and you wouldn't want that. It is also important to have a cold pie because pumpkin pie is normally served cold. It is not served hot. So get that pie once it has cooled down into the refrigerator so that it can have a chance to really cool down and then we can put the decorations on. Also there may be a little bit of cracking on the top and that is perfectly fine. "
