"Hi, my name is Stephanie Barnett and on behalf of Expert Village I'm here to show you how to make a pumpkin pie. We are now going to add butter to the flour. It's very important that your butter is ice cold, that keeps the dough very flaky. You will notice that a stick of butter is eight tablespoons, you only need seven. So cut off one tablespoon with a knife, open the butter up. To make it easier to incorporate into the flour, cut it into pieces, add it to your flour. If you have this tool, you can press it into the flour, otherwise I will show you how to do it with your hands. Take a knife, cut up the butter a little bit more in the flour and as my grandmother said, be afraid of the flour and butter. So you want to touch it as little as possible. Work the butter into the flour until it is the texture of peas."
