"Hi. I'm Sarah Darley with Sar-Bear's Cheesecakes for Expert Village. In this segment we're going to talk about how to top your cheesecake and to make it visually appealing. Usually, I put them on a charger which you can buy in sets of four. Usually pretty cheap around the holidays and that way if you want to give them out as gifts, you can just give them away. You can take the bottom of the pan off or just leave it on the plate when you're taking it somewhere. But what you need to do is just to release the spring form pan and the edges of the cake will release from it. It will kind of slide around on the tray with the bottom still on it. So then, since this is our chocolate-peanut butter cheesecake what I did was I put a third of a cup of chocolate chips and a third of a cup of peanut butter chips into these cups and then I just put about a tablespoon of vegetable shortening in with them. So when we melt these to top it the shortening helps liquefy them so they are easier to pour rather than like when we melted them before we didn't put anything in with them and they weren't thin enough to actually pour. So you just want to put them in for about a minute on half power just enough to melt them in the microwave and then stir them up so we can pour them over the top. Put them in actually one at a time. Don't put them in together just because the two different kinds of chips sometimes take a different of time to melt. And you don't want either of them to burn. After you've melt them you want to make sure that you stir it all together and with the shortening so that its completely melted and all mixed in. And you'll see that it?s like pretty runny. And then just to top it off just go ahead and drizzle it over in whichever, whatever way that you'd like. Like I said we're using the peanut butter and chocolate because that's what's in here. But if you wanted to put white chocolate for a contrast of color or something like that, you can do that also. So there's the peanut butter and we're just going to wait for the chocolate to melt before we do that one. Now that the chocolates melted you just want to do the same thing. Make sure it?s all stirred in pretty well together so that you won't have any chunks of chocolate. Sometimes they still get chunks of chocolate if I don't mix it. If I'm doing it in a hurry. so just make sure that its all stirred in and then go ahead and just do like you did with the peanut butter and pour it over. Chocolate?s usually a little bit thicker than the peanut butter even after you melt it."
