Video Transcript

"Hi, my name's Kip and welcome to Expert Village. Today we're making striped cookie rounds, a wonderful holiday treat. Now that we have prepared our pan and put our baking material, or our dough on the pan, it's time to bake them. Make sure that you bake them one sheet at a time, not all the sheets at a time. Because once they come out you're going to have to work with them and you're going to have to work fairly quickly. After 3, 4, 5, minutes, right in there somewhere, keep an eye on them, you don't want them to get too dark. These are just golding around the edges. Then you're going to take your metal spatula, and this can be a little difficult to do without tearing sometimes, and just break it loose from the baking paper. And then we're going to put them back in the oven for another few seconds or so. When you're working these cookies and rolling them around our spoon, you're going to want to make sure if they become difficult to work with, all you have to do is put them back in the oven for a few seconds to help and get them to relax. While those are baking for a few minutes, let's get our wooden spoons ready."
