"Hi, I'm Rachel for Expert Village. Now first we are going to mix the dry ingredients. We are not going to put all the flour, we are going to see later on if I need this extra half cup of flour that I'm going to add to the mixture. The baking soda, the baking powder we are going to mix it all together. Now with the cocoa it is very important if you don't want to have all kinds of hard bumps in the middle to sift it before you bake it. You can see the cocoa has a lot of little bumps in it so we want to prevent it from staying like that in our cookies. We are going to mix it with the flour like this. It is going to mix everything later on once the dry ingredients are mixed good together. That is the dry ingredients. "
