"Hi, my name's Kip and welcome to Expert Village. Today we're making chocolate crackle topped cookies, a popular holiday dessert. Now, our dough is cooling, our baking sheets are prepared. So it's now time to get the confectioners' sugar together, and we're gonna have a little fun with that. We're gonna want to get our confectioners' sugar, that's what we need there, and let's get our dough out of the refrigerator. We have to be a little careful. It was full in here, we don't want it to fall out on us. So there we go, that should be about right, we'll check and see. And I happen to have one. Another scoop in your hand. Nice thing about doing this with your hand is that you can usually feel if you don't have the right size, the right amount, if it's too much or too little. And they don't have to be perfect. You don't want them to look store bought, you've made these as a holiday treat to either give away as a present, which is what we intend to do with this. We, for a present for our, some of our family we've bought them cookbooks, and I'm making recipes out of the cookbooks to go along with that as a gift for the family as a whole. But there's many, many different things that we can do. Roll, sugar. Continue doing that until you have the tray full. Remembering to keep the cookies abount an inch and a half apart. We've managed to get all the cookies on one tray, and just a few on this next tray. The next thing we'll do, after we've preheated our oven to 325 degrees, we will bake our cookies for 10 to 15 minutes or until the tops are firm. Place your tray of cookies, and set your timer for 10 to 15 minutes."
