"Hi there I'm Lindsay Loreen and I'm a cookie connoisseur with expertvillage.com. Today I'm going to show you how to make the very best cookie that you ever had in your life. Two years ago I started a gourmet cookie company called Cookies Couture and we make cookies that are like the Bentley of the cookie world. We where selling them whole sale and now I'm going to open a retail store so hopefully next year you can come and eat my cookies but in the mean time I want you to start baking some cookies at home. There's five different tips that I'm going to give you that anytime you bake some cookies this is what you are going to want to do. So tip number 1 no matter what the receipt says I always use salted butter everyone always loves my cookies what is so different about them and I think that people really like the combination of salt and sweet so use salted butter. Most bakers don't but it is a little tip. And then no matter what the recipe says you are going to want to freeze your dough for about 5 minutes because you know when you bake cookies and they all spread and you want them in a nice thick, chewy cookie well freezing your dough for about 5 minutes is going to make them thick and not spread so you won't have a thin cookie. My third tip is that when you have your flour you are going to buy all purpose unbleached flour and you don't need to shift it because it is going to make your cookie light and kind of airy and if you want a dense chewy cookie I don't think that shifting is necessary My forth tip is that when you want to extend the life of your cookies just bake as many as you want to eat over that one day, two days and you could freeze your dough because cookie dough could be frozen for up to 3 months. My last tip is always have some kind of like beverage on hand when guys comes over they are going to want milk with there cookies. So that is my tips and we are going to start baking. "
