"Now I'll show you how to shape our teddy bear cake. First I'm going to mark the cake with my fingers and then you'll need a serrated knife to cut the shape. You want to come sort of in the middle here on the top, an inch down from the top, and put your fingers about an inch apart and just poke in the cake a little bit to make a mark. On the side here, you want to come down about two and a half to three inches, and put a little poke in the cake there, and then come down another two inches and put a little poke there. That one should be just above the halfway mark of the cake. And then you want to put identical markings over here. Now that's our guide for cutting our cake. Now we're going to start over here, and just lightly round off the corner of the cake. And then kind of come around. This is the ear. And you want to come down to that first indent, and then straight across, and then back up. And make a cutout like that. And then come around here and we're going to round off the other corner for the other ear. And then we're going to just a small cut, go into that little indent, just a little bit, and then come out again. Like this. And then finish off rounding that to this second mark. And then you want to go and do the same thing over here with this indent. You come around. Make a little bit of an indent. These indents only go in about a half an inch. And then come in and out for the other indent. Now that has shaped our ears and our head. And you want to hang onto these extra pieces of cake. We'll use a bit for the snout. Now you want to come down here and round this just a little bit. And we're going to round the corners again down here. These are going to be the paws of our bear. And we'll finish up by making a cut about an inch from the bottom and in the center, and we'll round out there for the paws. And that is the basic shape of our teddy bear cake, and next we'll begin to frost it."
