"This is Mary Murphy and you are watching Expert Village. You can have homemade pecan pumpkin pie with making your own whipped cream. This is what we would need we would need some heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract and a little bit of white sugar and a egg beater. Put this in and pour the whip cream into a bowl and then you whip until it is thick. Of course you add the vanilla extract and the sugar when you are almost finish cooking. You want to have the whip cream as cold as possible and you utensils cold. Now that it is almost whipped thickly enough we would add the sugar I will add the sugar while I'm beating it. Now you don't want to over beat it because it would actually turn into butter and then 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Here we have our finished product of pumpkin pecan pie with homemade whip cream. This pie does need to cool and come to at least to room temperature before you cut into it but this is your final pie. It looks very nice if I do say so myself. "
